We will start our tour at the magnificent adobe platform of Huaca Rajada (Open daily from 10:00 am to 03:00 pm), where the tomb of the most powerful man of ancient Peru, the Lord of Sipan, was discovered. In its on-site museum are exhibited the objects found in the tomb of the Warrior Priest, an important character of the Mochica elite, as well as fabulous articles of gold and precious stones, belonging to the ancient Moche civilization. Then we move to the northeast of Chiclayo, to reach Tucume (Attention Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am to 04:00 pm), an imposing complex of 26 adobe pyramids of the Lambayeque or Sicán culture.
Finally we will visit the Royal Tombs of the Lord of Sipan Museum (Open Monday to Friday from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm), considered one of the most spectacular museums in America, which houses the most important Mochica archaeological remains and displays the ornaments and jewelry found in the tomb of the Lord of Sipan. With a pyramid-shaped design reminiscent of the ancient Moche, it has 3 levels, which show how the funerary structure was formed in the tomb located in Huaca Rajada.
Lunch included.
