GENERAL POLICIES

  1. VALIDITY
    Tariffs will be effective from 1 January to 31 December 2012, which will remain unchanged throughout the year unless drastic changes in the national economy. The rates don not apply for holidays (New Year, Marinera, Easter, Independence Day, long weekends, Christmas), please consult these cases. Rates are expressed in U.S. dollars (U.S. $), include VAT, are non-commissionable and net rates are per person.
  2. SERVICES
    The services are daily provided in private or regular service, according to the schedule indicated in the itinerary.

    All circuits specified, include tourist transportation, bilingual guide Spanish - English, entrance tickets to the right places and everything specified in the itinerary.

    To make a reservation you must state the following information::
    Names, passports and nationality of the Paxs.
    Program Name, Hotel, Room Type.
    Services to be held, Language, Date of Arrival and Departure.
    Means of transport, Type of service: in private or SEAT IN CAR (SIC)
  4. PAYMENTS
    After the confirmation of reservations, the purchasing agency must deposit the full payment of services, before the arrival of the guests..

    For FITS, there will be a pre-payment of 50% a week before the service and payment of the balance 48 hours before the arrival of guests or service starts.

    For GROUPS, there will be a pre-payment of 50% 2 weeks before the start of the service and payment of the balance 1 week before the arrival of guests or the commencement of services.

  5. CANCELLATIONS
    All cancellations to be taken into account, must be requested in writing and processed the first working day. To avoid paying NO SHOW, cancellations must be made well in advance.

    For FITS, at least 48 hours before arrival of the guests. For Holidays and Long Weekends 10 days in advance at least.

    In the case of groups, at least 7 days before the arrival of guests. For Holidays and Long Weekends with 20 days notice at least.

    During the holidays and high season Muchik TOURS reserves the right to alter the cancellation policies if their suppliers should apply further penalties apart from those listed above.
  6. REFUNDS
    In the following cases no refund will be given:
    In case of no show of the guests.
    For cancellations of services or part of them, once travel begins.
    f the cancellation is received less than 48 hours before arrival of the passengers in the case of FITS or if the cancellation is received less than 7 days before the arrival of passengers in the case of GROUPS.
    For Holidays and Long Weekends if the cancellation is received less than 10 days before service starts in the case of FITS and if the cancellation is received less than 20 days prior to commencement of service in the case of GROUPS.
  7. CHANGES
    MUCHIK TOURS may change the order of the route of the tours, as it considers strictly necessary for the safety of guests or better success of the service, subject to the program, unless weather conditions or guests safety become inadequate.

    If any service is interrupted or canceled due to these climatic conditions, reasons of force majeure or other, MUCHIK TOURS, does not repay the service provided as a result of such interruptions or cancellations beyond our control.
  8. RESPONSIBILITIES
    MUCHIK TOURS S.A.C. acts as an intermediary between the user and the various companies whose services are used for excursions such as lodging, food, airline or other. Therefore not taking any responsibility for any failures, delays, thefts, accidents, or other damages related to the services of third parties against the guests.
  9. OF MINORS
    It is considered child guests from 02 to 10 years traveling accompanied by one or more adults. Children will have a 50% discount on the normal rate. Except for third party services (air tickets, bus tickets, accommodation, etc.), Where they will have to pay the full cost of these services or according to policy established by the supplier.
  10. VOUCHER
    All guests sent by an Agency must bring their voucher or order of service with the details of the services requested, which must be given to MUCHIK TOURS.
